"Counting down 3..2..1...lift off for Utah! Today I started the refrigerator and freezer in the Casita. It takes 24 hrs to get cold the first time its used. I tested the solar panel and, behold, it too works! The table that seats 4 and the table that seats 2 are both up and in position so the Casita will look pretty for Patt's first sight of her rolling home for the next 25 days. We will convert to beds as needed. We also have a full box of sing-along song books for campfire evenings since there are 15 other Casitas making this journey.
Patt has never towed a trailer and I have never taken the Casita on the road without Doug. Learning time is upon us! I have great confidence in Patt and she seems to have confidence in me and the stories begin! Stay tuned.
